State College's Nittany Ballet, now a Balanchine licensed ballet school, is hosting a guest artist, Eve Lawson, who will visit Schlow to discuss the masterful creativity of George Balanchine, the world's foremost and prolific ballet choreographer of the 20th century. Additionally, we will hear stories behind the creation of one of his most famous ballets, Serenade, and an analysis of the style and technique needed to perform the piece.
