Materials Needed:

  • 3-5 flexible straws
  • Scissors
  • Strong tape (eg. duct tape) (you can also use plasticine or modeling clay)
  • Clear plastic cups or containers of different heights
  • Water
  • Basin or tray to catch water

  • Optional: food coloring
  • Extension:
    • Plastic bottle (1-2L) and cap
    • 3-4 push pins
