Read Between the Wines

5:30pm to 7:30pm

Book Discussion with Schlow Library at Mount Nittany Vineyard & Winery!

A Schlow librarian will lead a discussion on Don't You Cry for Me by Judith Redline Coopley, a historical novel set while the Civil War is raging, and the South teeters on the brink of defeat. A circuit-riding minister, Carter Willoughby, looks for lodging at the home of Susannah Lander, a poverty-stricken Quaker woman living in South Central Pennsylvania. Carter’s mission as a Confederate spy is to plan the destruction of the Horseshoe Curve, an engineering marvel that makes it possible for trains to scale the Allegheny escarpment. Available in print through schlowlibrary.org.

Reservations are $25/person and may be made through https://www.mtnittanywinery.com/visit-us/.  This event includes a box dinner, glass of wine, and a donation to the Schlow Library Foundation. Space is limited.
