The Factory by JJNielsen

Works in Mixed Media by Jami Joelle Nielsen

Our June exhibition is up in the Gallery! "Reimagined" by Art by Jami Joelle Nielsen will be on display until June 25.

Jami is a "disabled recycled-object artist with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome who combines a passion for nature, science, the arts, and social awareness through visual expression." With a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Kansas, she creates assemblage, collage, sculpture and paintings, using recycled, synthetic materials removed from the waste stream, as well as elements from nature. Her artwork combines a reverence for nature and the human experience.

Interested in purchasing a piece? Contact the artist through her Facebook page linked above. Like the Library, the exhibition is free and open to the public.
