Celebrating 20 Years!
Right after the turn of the century, the Friends of Schlow Library (now known as the Schlow Library Foundation) embarked on their most ambitious project to date; raising enough money to build a new, bigger Library building that would sustain our growing community and become a hub for today and tomorrow.
With the help of our community donors, that project became a reality and on October 3, 2005 the new Schlow Library building opened its doors to patrons. Today, this building welcomes more than 215,000 visitors each year. With room for more than 130,000 physical items and beautiful spaces that host over 700 programs a year, Schlow Library has certainly turned into the community hub that was envisioned more than two decades ago.
We are looking forward to the next 20 years and beyond!
