Annual State College Photo Club Youth Showcase

The Teens Create gallery space features 14 new photos from youth photographers. From a softly-focused portrait to an aerial view of the ocean, the images highlight the creativity of our local teen artists.

The photographs by the students will hang in the Teens Create space on the 2nd floor throughout the month of November. All images were taken by students from the State College Area High School and chosen for the State College Photo Club's Annual State College Photo Club Youth Showcase Winners. The photos were also submitted to the national Photographic Society of America (PSA) Youth Showcase. Two of the photos were accepted by PSA, receiving a PSA gold medal and an honorable mention.

The State College Photo Club thanks Ms. Danielle Crowe, Art Teacher and Curriculum Coordinator, State College Area School District, for her involvement in encouraging her students to participate in the State College Photo Club Youth Showcase. They are also grateful to Mr. John McQueary of State College Framing Company for his support for framing the high school photos. The framed photos will be given to the participating students after the exhibition.
