Description

We're celebrating table top role playing games all month long!

DnD can be just how you want it! This workshop is designed for those looking to make their grand adventure into a game for others to play. Those attending will learn the basics of creating an adventure and setting for TTRPGS (with focus on DnD).

This includes sections on:

  • Story-based Worldbuilding: Campaign or oneshot?
  • World history/Lore
  • Mapmaking
  • City planning
  • Dungeon creation
  • NPC/Monster Making
  • How to keep it all straight (organization)

Over all of these topics, we want people to know that it doesn’t have to be a daunting task to make a world. It is a good thing to borrow from pre-established things like mechanics and characters and story elements. There are tons of resources like encounter builders, random roll tables, and character creators to draw from as well. It can be just as fun to make a story and setting as it is to play in one!

Don't miss the many planned workshops throughout March.

Recommended for teens and adults.

Events are free and open to the public thanks to the Centre TTRPG Coalition and 3 Dots Downtown.
