Enjoy snuggling up with a good book while coasting through the dark months? Set your goal. Read to win.

Adulst & teens can register at reading.schlowlibrary.org. If you participated in a previous Winter or Summer Reading Program, you can log in with your existing username and password.  After registering, patrons are encouraged to set a goal for the number of books to read in two months.  

Completing quests provides additional entries for the final prize drawing.  Quests include Basic Reading, Reading Goal, Centre County Reads, Book Bingo, and Winter Activity.  

Entering its seventh year, Schlow's Winter Reading program will begin this year on Monday, January 27, and continue until Wednesday, March 26.  Readers aged 11 years and older are invited to participate. 

The Final Prize drawings will occur on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Prizes include:

• New books
• Gift cards
• S'more maker
• JBL bluetooth speaker (teen prize).
