Puzzles were made for cozy evenings inside. Looking to refresh your stock of puzzles, or just clear out some extra space? Bring your (complete!) puzzles into Schlow, starting December 1. Those who donate will receive a ticket for entry during the first half hour of the exchange, starting at 1:30pm. No puzzles to donate? No worries! At 2pm, the exchange will open to the public.
Recommended for all ages.
Children will learn to recognize and manage worries related to the winter and the holidays by engaging with stories and fun crafts. At the same time, parents can meet mental health professionals to learn and practice science-based skills to recognize and manage anxiety in themselves and their children.
Enjoy needle arts like knitting, crochet, and embroidery? Join our in-person Needlework Club to spend time with others who enjoy these creative pastimes. The drop-in group welcomes all skills levels. Just grab your project bag and head to Schlow!

Put on your dancing shoes and shake out your sillies! Enjoy movement and music with the whole family. We'll have musical games, guided dance times, and free dance.
Cozy up in the Quiet Area for a game of calculation. Schlow is delighted to partner again with IGAR Games to bring our patrons a unique opportunity to experience an evening of gothic mystery and social deduction.
Gordon Robinson of IGAR Games will guide us as our storyteller through Blood on the Clocktower, a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception.
Ms. Margot’s Music Baby & Me music classes provide a “joyful, gentle” way to introduce music into early learning and development for babies and offer a fun, social experience for young children. Join Ms. Margot for both her award-winning original songs and classics designed for easy sing-along, movement, instruments, and play and interaction between you and your baby.

Come to Schlow on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays (schedule permitting: any date changes will be noted on each event) to join people of all ages in these classic games of strategy and patience. This event is in partnership with Happy Valley Go Club, an official chapter of the AGA (American Go Association).
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
All skill levels are welcome!
Meetings will be held in the Downsbrough Community Room, unless otherwise noted.
Join the club where comic enthusiasts discuss, draw, write, and collaborate! Whether you want to chat about who was the best comic book villain, geek out about the newest episode of the Death Note adaptation, or share your excitement about your first read through of Demon Slayer, Comics Club is for you.
Meetings are hybrid: simultaneously in person and online. In-person attendance doesn't require registration. For virtual attendance, registration is required.
Teens in grades 6 to 12, join us in the Sun Room to create a winter favorite -- Gingerbread Houses!
We'll provide the supplies, you provide the creativity. Design a bungalow or a modern manse.
