Title
Spectacular Snakes
Although snakes have a reputation as a scary reptile, this program seeks to teach children how friendly and helpful they really are! Students will learn about common snake species of Pennsylvania, including which are venomous and how to respect snakes in the wild. We will explore adaptations like snakes they move, hunt, eat, shed, and taste the air through a special organ in their mouths! Finally, we will learn why humans may be afraid of snakes and why snakes are truly our friends in nature. Presented by Discovery by Nature.
