What is the Schlow Library Foundation?
The Schlow Library Foundation (formerly known as the Friends of Schlow Library) is made up of community volunteers who give their time because they love the Library. The Foundation provides crucial funding support for the programs and services at Schlow Library. This support is made possible by donations of all sizes to the Foundation by community members.
This also includes important advocacy, financial investment, and volunteer support for the Library, with an eye towards a sustainable future.
The Foundation is working to ensure that the Library services you cherish will continue without interruption through fundraising projects and outreach programs.
Donations to the Schlow Library Foundation are tax-deductible and make an immediate impact in your community. All donations made to the Foundation go directly to support the Library.
In short, Friends are The Foundation...YOU are The Foundation!

Bingo Night Sponsored by the Schlow Library Foundation!
Join Schlow for an evening of fun and games! We'll be hosting our first ever bingo night fundraiser.
$3 for 3 cards or 6 cards for $5. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
Registration is not required. However, as space is limited, those who pre-register will be guaranteed a seat.
Those under 18 must be with a parent/guardian.

Cheers to Art at the Arena
Join the Schlow Library Foundation on Wednesday, June 5 at 6pm for an evening of socialization, fun and painting!
Painting will be $15 with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Schlow Library Foundation.
Registration is required to paint. Please register as a group if you'd like to sit together.
This is a family friendly event!

How do I make a donation?
Donations are accepted by mail, online, or in person at the Schlow Library Service desks.

What does my donation fund?
Donations to the Schlow Library Foundation provide funding for ALL of the programs and services that Schlow Library provides to our patrons. Storytimes, Book Clubs, and special events; are just a few of the programs funded by donations. Thank you!
When can I make a donation?
We welcome donations any time. The two main publicized fundraisers are Centre Gives in May and our annual year-end appeal in October. Donations are accepted at any time of year.
Is there a yearly membership?
No, unlike the previous Friends of Schlow Library, the Schlow Library Foundation does not have a membership program.
