Violence is American as Cherry Pie Nancy Burch Brassington

An Exhibition of Poetry and Art

A Poem in Our Eyes, the June exhibition in our gallery, is up now!

This creative, mixed-media exhibition features poems written by residents of the memory care unit at Centre Crest in response to art created by local artists. The show, organzied by Ridgelines Language Arts, "...honors the imaginations of those living with memory loss, and challenges conventional notions of disability." Both the poems and the artwork will hang in the Betsy Rogers Allen Gallerly until June 27.

For more information about Ridgelines and the programs they offer in the Centre Region check out their website.

Interested in purchasing one of the works on display? Contact Ridgelines to help get you in touch with the artist.

Like the library, this exhibition is free and open to the public.
