Per the directions of Governor Wolf and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Schlow Centre Region Library's building will be closed until further notice.
No physical items borrowed from Schlow Centre Region Library or Centre County Library & Historical Museum locations will be due and no fines will accrue.
ALL book drop locations both at our building and throughout the Centre Region closed starting Friday, March 20. Please do not leave items around the book drops as they will not be monitored. No late fees will be assessed and no items will be due.
Our Virtual Library at schlowlibrary.org remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout our building closure for visitors to get temporary library cards, manage their library accounts, and download digital materials including books, audiobooks, magazines and movies for all ages.
Reserve a virtual community room for business, organization or personal meetings through our new digital service to make connecting online easier. Our staff will provide setup and expert assistance to take the guesswork out of your virtual Zoom Room gatherings.
All events in our building through May 30 have been cancelled, but we have a developing schedule of virtual programs including story times, book clubs, and much more.
Schlow’s WiFi can be accessed in the Library parking lot 24/7. Connection assistance may be available via email to email@example.com, pending staff availability.
Spaces are limited, and for your own health and safety, we ask that visitors remain in their vehicles while using the WiFi and to not congregate with other visitors in the parking lot outside or inside of your vehicles.
Our Library by Mail and Interlibrary Loan services are suspended until further notice.
Please visit this page and our social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) often as we continue to post updates during this rapidly-evolving situation, and thank you for your patience as we determine the best course to continue providing library services while protecting the health of our visitors, volunteers and staff.
