Access WiFi

Schlow’s Expanded WiFi can be accessed in the Library parking lot 24/7.

Spaces are limited, and for your own health and safety, we ask that visitors remain in their vehicles while using the WiFi and to not congregate with other visitors in the parking lot outside or inside of your vehicles.

While our WiFi signal has been available in our parking lot since the beginning of the pandemic, you can now enjoy a stronger signal all around the perimeter of our building, thanks to recent improvements to our network infrastructure. The signal is strongest in the parking lot, in front of our front doors, and along Beaver Avenue.

  • Connect to the wireless network (SSID) called "schlowlibrary" which should be accessible anywhere around the perimeter of the library.
  • Encryption is WPA2 Personal. WPA Personal is also supported.
  • The password is also "schlowlibrary", without the quotation marks.
  • Wait 10-15 seconds to allow your computer to properly set its new network settings.
  • Open your web browser. If you have set it to a blank page, or a site beginning with https://, you must try to visit an internet web page.
  • Review our internet policy, then click on "I accept."
  • If you don't have a device to connect, we have appointments to use our public computers.

Connection assistance may be available via email to refdesk@schlowlibrary.org, or calling 814.826.1181,pending staff availability.
